The Ascot Swim School pool is ideal for young children's swimming lessons as it has a shallow area depth of 0.9 metres which stretches 10 metres down the pool length ensuring a safe and exciting swimming area for the children. The deep end is 2.0 metres deep allowing for safe diving practise and fun activities. Parents are able to sit poolside during lessons at both the shallow and deep ends of the pool and so are always in close contact with the children. For serious training sessions the pool is 4 lanes x 25metres, each lane separated by anti-wave lane ropes making for splash free training. There are permanent diving blocks over each lane at the deep end. Backstroke turning flags are positioned at both ends of the pool.
